This will enable business users and subject matter experts to understand and contribute to automation projects.
However, UI automation comes with its own challenges, especially in the case of automating web interfaces or products that undergo regular updates. The automation will not work if the interface no longer matches what is coded into the system. So, engineers are searching for ways to make automation more resilient to UI changes and enable the reusability of UI components in projects.
It is also easier for teams to create common repositories of UI items and update them across multiple processes simultaneously, which is less time-consuming among each team. This also ensures that developers work with properly identified and tested UI items for their automation.

There is always some amount of uncertainty when selecting a UI item – will it work correctly when the RPA is in a production environment? Automation providers have come up with a new feature to capture multiple versions of the same UI item on the screen, thus ensuring better chances of success. If one option does not identify a UI item correctly, there are backups, which ensure correct identification of a field, even when the interface has been changed slightly.
